  Last Saturday, John and I drove out to Manning Park searching for Cambie Creek, a x-country ski trail.  Just an hour from South Garden Bed and Breakfast, down Hwy 3 we happened upon the awesome spot.  The skies were blue, the sun was shining, the snow was 6 ft deep and a pristine white.  We doned our skis, gliding along, getting great exercise and fresh air.  After a few falls, with soft landings, we had lots of good laughs.  The beauty was appreciated, with an added bonus being able to ski without cost.   Had a great day.

When asked how Brian Minter manages to accomplish so much, his wife Faye responds that he’s the only person she knows who can squeeze 25 hours out of a day, 8 days out of a week, and have a lot of fun doing it. She and Brian have shared the building of their spectacular Minter Gardens, and the running of their garden centre, from the companies’ inceptions.  This beautiful display of flowers, trees, and everything gardening you can imagine happens just 10 minutes from here, at South Garden Bed and Breakfast.  Many of our gardens were planted with Brian’s expert advice.
